Technical Advisory Group Recommendations

Tier I

1.) LOR-83-12.17 PID 23066 (North Ridgeville)

The TAG has completed the feasibility study process and is recommending the elevation of this project to Tier I status. The cost to the grade separation program including PE, Right of Way, and Construction is $2.6 million with construction in FY 2005.

A public meeting was held December 5 to solicit comments on the two remaining alternatives, both of which are overpasses.

1.) WOO-Oregon Road PID 23115 (Wood County Engineer)

This project is currently scheduled for a feasibility study in 2002. Due to the work load of our in-house design team and the predicted schedules for completing next year’s studies, the TAG is recommending that ODOT hire a consultant to perform this study.

This project is more complex than the other ones to be completed next year and removing this from the in-house team’s work load will free them up to complete the rest of them on time.

We estimate this to cost $100,000 - $150,000.

Application period will closes December 18. To date, we have only received one application from the Columbiana County Engineer.
