Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII) external link

prohibits discrimination based upon race, color, sex (including sexual harassment), religion, or national origin.


 

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) external link

prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals in all employment practices, including job application procedures, hiring, firing, advancement, compensation and training.

The Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA) external link

protects men and women who perform substantially equal work in the same establishment from sex-based wage discrimination.


 The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA) external link

protects individuals who are 40 years of age or older.

 


Ohio Revised Code Section 4112.02 external link

is the state law that prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, or ancestry.

 


Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI) external link

prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.
