Key Contacts for Highway Safety

ODOT's Highway Safety Programs are managed by the Office of Systems Planning and Program Management and District Safety Coordinators in each region of the state. This team works to:
  • Identify priority high-crash and congested locations
  • Conduct data analysis and safety studies
  • Partner with local agencies and Metropolitan Planning Organizations to improve safety on municipal high-crash locations beyond ODOT jurisdiction
  • Partner with the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Governor's Highway Safety Office to conduct target enforcement and educational programs in priority locations, and
  • Conduct Work Zone Crash analysis, recommendations, and improvements
  • Provide Training
