Work Plan

The ODOT Major Bridge Program was established in 2002 with the purpose of funding high cost bridge rehabilitations and replacements for the largest structures in the state.  The creation of this program allowed the expense of maintaining major bridges to be addressed while not overburdening the District general bridge allocation funds, which could be entirely consumed with just one major bridge rehabilitation.  Out of the nearly 15,000 bridges that ODOT is responsible for maintaining, 152 are defined as a major bridge and therefore eligible for Major Bridge Program funding.  Questions concerning the Major Bridge Program can be directed to Kelly Brooker Scocco at (614) 387-6225 or kbrooker@dot.state.oh.us.
