Railroad Crossing Improvements May 1, 2002 James E. Seney, Executive Director of the Ohio Rail Development Commission (ORDC) directed the American Energy Corporation to reconstruct the railroad/highway grade crossing surface and to install lights and gates at the grade crossing at SR 148 near Alledonia, Belmont County, Ohio. The ORDC distributes $15,000,000 in federal highway funds annually to improve safety at Ohio’s rail grade crossings. Mr. Seney, said these improvements are part of a cooperative effort between the ORDC and American Energy Corporation.
