Item 411 Stabilized Crushed Aggregate

This section recommends minimum documentation and critical inspection requirements for Items 410 and 411. All of the following documentation requirements must be recorded in the project daily reports. References to the appropriate specifications, and proposals and plan notes or details for all the inspector reports are required. Specifications or other requirements waived by the Project Engineer shall be noted on the daily diaries.

Item 410 Traffic Compacted Aggregate

1. Subgrade condition.
2. Blading operation.
3. Maintenance.
4. Obtain weight ticket, if required.

Item 411 Stabilized Crushed Aggregate

1. Roller weights.
2. Lift thickness.
3. Roller passes.
4. Compaction tests according to S-1015.
5. Final compaction with rubber tire.
6. Obtain weight ticket, if required.
