  The application’s macro that handles editing of hyperlink bases has been revised to provide cell references for any links found to be un-editable.  Appendix A of the Project Index user’s guide has been updated to provide more detail on using the link base editor as well as information on how to enable macros in Excel 2007.

NEW APPLICATION

• ODOT_PropertyLineMarker.mvba, v08.07.18:
  NEW - Application to place a property line marker cell (either PLM or OHK) on the selected property line element.  The cell is automatically rotated to the direction of the selected line, linestring, curve, arc, or complex chain element.

• ODOT_CombineQuantities_XM.exe, v08.02.08:
  This application replaces Combine_Seeding.exe.
  
  The application now starts the seeding quantities with a “back” end are value of zero, which is consistent with the earthworks quantities.  In the previous version, the seeding quantity started with the “ahead” end area value and the earthwork started with the “back” volume (that was the way the quantities are reported from GEOPAK). The change now allows both sets of quantities to start with the “back” value which is more consistent.  This change necessitated a change to ODOT_XSBoundary.mvba to move the insertion point for the seeding end area to the lower portion of the boundary.

• ODOT_Signs_XM.mvba, v08.03.17:
  Fixed the app to place the correct cell for the directional arrows “UP_ARROW”.
  
  Modified the application so that the scale value controls only the size of the sign cell, and not the size of the text labels placed beneath the sign cell. The text size is controlled by the active Model Annotation Scale. This allows the user to increase or reduce the size of the sign cell without impacting the size of the text labels.  The name of the “Scale” key-in field was changed to read “Sign Scale” on the face of the dialog.
  
  The application automatically turns on the Text Annotation Scale option.  This is necessary to ensure that the correct text size is used according to the active model Annotation Scale value.
   

• ODOT_XSBoundary_XM.mvba, v08.02.08:
  The insertion point for the seeding “end area” quantity was moved to the lower part of the boundary element. This change is necessary to support a change to the application ODOT_CombineQuantities_XM.exe, which now starts the seeding end area with a “back” end area value of zero instead of an “ahead” quantity end area.
   

• ODOT_XSQuantities_XM.mvba, v07.10.17:
  Added a test to ensure that the stationing of the first cross section is within in the limits of the chain. It is assumed that if this test passes that the stationing is correct for all the cross section cells.

NEW ODOT APPLICATIONS:

• ODOT_BridgeDetailScale_XM.mvba, v08.04.02.XM:
  The new application is used to set the active MicroStation Model Annotation Scale and Custom Line Style Scale values.  Additionally, the application can be used to set the text size and line style scale for previously placed MicroStation elements.
   

• ODOT_CellDistOffset_XM.mvba, v07.10.17.XM:
  Used to place cells at specified distance and offset along a selected MicroStation element.

• ODOT_DirtCalc_XM.mvba, v07.11.14.XM:
  The new application used to measure areas and end widths on completed cross sections in order to assist the user to generate cross section seeding and earthwork quantities.

  Used to place a standard median opening according to the Location and Design manual, Volume 1, Figure 304-2E, at a specified station along a selected GEOPAK chain.
