A four-mile, four-lane resurfacing project from the Pike-Scioto County line to
AEC/DOE
overpass. Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in each direction
at all times.
Start: May 2003/Complete: Spring 2004

Route 32 Jackson County
Interchange construction at the intersection of State Routes 32 and 327, south
of Wellston. Traffic is being maintained in at least one lane in each direction
on SR 32 at all times; SR 327 is closed from the routes' junction to its intersection
with County Road 88, and traffic is being detoured from CR 88 to SR 32.
Start: Winter 2002/Complete: July 2004

Route 23 Pike County
A three-mile, four-lane resurfacing project from just north of Waverly at Township
Road
413 (Keechle Hill Rd.) to the Pike-Ross county line. Traffic will be maintained
in a minimum of one lane in each direction at all times.

A four-mile, four-lane resurfacing project from County Road 600 (Massieville Rd.)
to the U.S. Route 23/U.S. Route 35 bypass at Chillicothe. Traffic will be maintained
in at least one lane in each direction at all times.
Start: Summer 2002/Complete: July 2003

Route 23 Scioto County
A bridge replacement project of the U.S. Grant Bridge, crossing the Ohio River
from Portsmouth, Ohio to South Shore, Kentucky. Traffic is being detoured via
the Carl
Perkins Bridge, west of Portsmouth.
Start: Summer 2001/Complete: Summer 2004
U.S.
Route 35 Ross County
A new road construction project of a 9.5-mile, four-lane limited access highway
to relocate U.S. Route 35 between Chillicothe and Richmond Dale. Traffic will
be maintained on the existing U.S. 35 throughout construction; traffic impacts
will minimal.
Start: Summer 2002/Complete: Winter 2004
